This page sets out how The Bravest Path Ltd handles your information, the terms on which we provide this website, and our commitment to making it accessible to everyone.
Last updated: 6 August 2026
The Bravest Path Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and in the course of delivering our programmes and services. We are a company registered in England and Wales, with our registered office at Ashbourne House, Old Portsmouth Road, Artington, Guildford GU3 1LR.
We collect information you give us directly, such as your name, email address, telephone number, organisation, role and any details you include when you contact us, enquire about a programme, subscribe to our newsletter, or take part in one of our courses.
On some coaching and programme engagements we also use psychometric questionnaires and 360 feedback. These produce a profile or set of scores about you as an individual, and the questionnaire is scored by the instrument’s own software. Your results are shared with you and your coach so that you can work with them together. They are not shared with your employer, your line manager or whoever commissioned the work. Anything reported back to a sponsoring organisation is aggregate and does not identify you.
When you use the website we also collect anonymous, aggregated statistics about how it is used: which pages are visited, roughly which country a visit came from, the type of device and browser, and how visitors arrived. This is done without cookies and without storing your IP address. None of it identifies you, and none of it is linked to you as an individual.
We use Simple Analytics, a privacy-first service with servers in the Netherlands, to understand how this website is used. We chose it specifically because it collects no personal data at all.
It sets no cookies and uses no similar storage on your device. It does not collect or store IP addresses. It does not fingerprint your device, and it cannot follow you across other websites or link your visits together over time. The country a visit comes from is worked out from your device’s timezone rather than your IP address. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, nothing is collected from you at all.
We also use Metricool, run by Metricool Software S.L. in Madrid, to see how the website performs alongside our social media. Metricool holds its data on servers inside the European Union. Like Simple Analytics, it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, and it gives you no identifier that would let it recognise you on a later visit.
The result is a simple count of which pages people find useful. Because no personal data is involved, there is nothing here for you to consent to, which is why this site has never shown you a cookie banner.
We use your information to respond to enquiries, deliver and administer our programmes, send you the newsletter and updates you have asked for, understand how the website is used so we can improve it, and meet our legal and contractual obligations. Where the law requires it, we rely on your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
We process personal data on the bases of your consent, the performance of a contract with you or your organisation, our legitimate interests in running and improving our services, and compliance with legal obligations.
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described here, or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted.
We do not sell your personal data, and we never will. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate, such as our email, hosting and course platforms, and only to the extent needed to provide their service to us. Our analytics provider is a deliberate exception: it receives no personal data whatsoever. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we take steps to ensure it is protected to an equivalent standard.
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@thebravestpath.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
By using this website you agree to these terms. The content on this site is provided for general information about The Bravest Path and our services. While we take care to keep it accurate and up to date, we give no warranty that it is complete or error free, and we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on it.
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, images and the Braver than Before® name and mark, is owned by or licensed to The Bravest Path Ltd and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own reference, but you may not reproduce, republish or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
This section applies when you buy a place on a Braver than Before® programme. It sits alongside the website terms above.
A booking buys one place, for one named person, on a specific cohort. The start and end dates, the registration closing date and what the programme includes are set out on that cohort’s page. A place covers the live sessions and Courage Circles, access to the learning platform, the session recordings, and a certificate on completion.
Your booking is confirmed, and a contract between us comes into being, when we send you a confirmation email. Payment by itself does not create the contract. If we cannot give you the place, for example because the cohort has already filled, we will refund you in full and nothing further is owed by either of us.
Prices on the cohort pages are shown in pounds sterling and exclude VAT. VAT is added at the current rate at checkout, and the total you will pay is shown to you in full before you enter any card details. The Bravest Path Ltd is registered for VAT under number 283524983.
You can pay by card at the time of booking, or ask us to invoice your organisation if your employer or trust is paying through finance or procurement. Card payments are handled by Stripe, our payment provider. We never see or store your card details. Invoiced places are payable on the terms shown on the invoice, and the place is held for you in the meantime.
If you are buying for yourself rather than through an employer, you have 14 days from the day we confirm your booking to cancel for any reason and receive a full refund. You do not need to give a reason. Email programmes@thebravestpath.com and tell us you want to cancel. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving your message, by the method you paid with.
Two points follow from starting early. If your cohort begins inside those 14 days, you are asking us to start delivering the programme before your cancellation period has ended, and you agree that we may do so. You keep the right to cancel during the 14 days, but we may keep a proportionate amount for the part of the programme already delivered by the time you tell us. If you ask us to open your learning platform access inside those 14 days, you lose the right to cancel that content once you begin using it. We ask you to confirm both of these when you book.
This right comes from the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and applies to individuals buying for themselves. It does not apply where an organisation buys a place for a member of its staff.
After the 14 days have passed, what you get back depends on how much notice we have, because that determines whether we can offer the place to someone else.
Cancel on or before the registration closing date shown on the cohort page and we will refund you in full. After that date the fee is no longer refundable, because the place can no longer be offered to anyone else. What we will do instead is move you to a later cohort at no extra charge, provided you ask us before your original cohort begins. Once the cohort has begun, the fee is not refundable, whether or not you attend.
You may move your place to a later cohort once, free of charge, as long as you ask before your original cohort begins. Later transfers are at our discretion.
If your organisation booked the place, it may send a different person instead, provided you tell us at least 14 days before the cohort starts so that the new participant can be set up on the learning platform in time.
Programmes run over several months and occasionally something has to move. We may change session dates, facilitators or format where we need to, and we will give you as much notice as we reasonably can.
If we cancel a cohort outright, or postpone it because too few people have enrolled, you choose: a place on the next equivalent cohort, or a full refund. Beyond that we are not able to cover other costs you may have arranged around the programme dates, such as cover for your time at work.
Missing a live session does not entitle you to a refund or a reduction. Recordings are published on the learning platform so that you can catch up, and this is how we expect most people to handle the occasional clash. Your certificate is issued when you have completed the programme requirements set out on the learning platform. Platform access remains open for three months after your cohort ends.
Programme materials, worksheets and session recordings are provided for your own use as a participant. Please do not share, republish, record or reuse them, inside or outside your organisation, without our written permission.
Braver than Before depends on people speaking openly in a group. We may remove a participant from a programme, without refund, where their conduct seriously undermines that, or where they share what others have said outside the group.
Where a trust or employer has paid for your place, we report attendance to them, because they have asked us to account for the funding. Where you have paid for your own place, we do not tell your employer that you are on the programme or whether you attended.
Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our liability in connection with a booking is limited to the amount you paid for the place.
If you are unhappy with any part of a programme, please tell us at info@thebravestpath.com so that we have the chance to put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. This site sets none of its own. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies, and we store nothing in your browser. Our analytics providers were chosen precisely because they work without them.
That is why you have not been asked to accept a cookie banner. There is nothing to accept.
Some third-party content embedded in our pages may set its own cookies or storage if you interact with it, for example video players, our certification badge and the chat widget that appears on a few pages. Those are governed by the providers’ own policies. You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and blocking these will not stop the rest of the site working.
Some pages on this site offer a chat assistant called the Courage Companion. It is an artificial intelligence system rather than a member of our team, and it will tell you so before you start a conversation with it.
It is there to answer straightforward questions about our programmes and to point you to the right part of the site. It can be wrong, and it should not be relied on for anything that matters to you. Nothing it says is clinical, medical, legal or professional advice, and nothing it says forms part of any agreement between us or commits us to anything. If your question is important, please speak to a person: info@thebravestpath.com.
Conversations are processed by our chat provider in order to produce a reply. Please do not enter personal details about yourself or anyone else, any patient information, or anything confidential to your organisation. If you would like a conversation deleted, contact us and we will arrange it.
You can stop using the assistant at any time, and everything on this site is available without it.
Some of our coaching and programme work uses psychometric questionnaires and 360 feedback, and those are scored automatically by the instrument’s own software. No decision about you is made that way. A coach or facilitator reads the result, discusses it with you, and any judgement that follows is theirs rather than the software’s. Nothing is granted, refused or reported on the strength of a score alone.
The programme measurement we publish is aggregate: it describes how groups of participants responded before and after a programme, and no named individual can be identified from it.
Where an automated result about you does exist, you have the right to be told about it, to a meaningful explanation of how it was reached, to challenge it, and to ask for a person with the authority to change the outcome to review it. Ask us at info@thebravestpath.com and we will arrange it. If we ever begin making decisions about individuals by automated means, we will say so here first.
Automated results about individuals are governed by the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
Separately, the transparency requirements of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689) have applied since 2 August 2026 to organisations whose AI systems can be reached by people in the EU. That is why we tell you plainly when you are talking to a machine. We keep this section under review as the rules develop.
We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standard, including clear structure and headings, sufficient colour contrast, text that resizes without loss of content, and keyboard navigation.
Accessibility is something we keep working on. If you find any part of the site difficult to use, or need information in a different format, please contact us at info@thebravestpath.com and we will do our best to help.
For any question about this page, about the personal data we hold, or to exercise any of the rights described above, contact us at info@thebravestpath.com or write to The Bravest Path Ltd, Ashbourne House, Old Portsmouth Road, Artington, Guildford GU3 1LR.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk. We would rather hear from you first so we have the chance to put things right.
